Staying Grounded When the Ground Is Changing
A community conversation about environmental stress, connection, and finding steady ground.

Living on the Western Slope means being deeply connected to the land around us—and lately, it can also mean carrying the stress of wildfires, drought, changing water levels, smoke, and uncertainty about the places we love.

Come connect with others who understand what it is like to love a place while also worrying about its future. Together, we'll explore the very real anxiety, grief, uncertainty, and helplessness that can come with environmental change—without getting stuck there.

Leave with practical tools to manage uncertainty, calm your nervous system, stay informed without becoming overwhelmed, recognize what is within your control or influence, and turn concern into meaningful action and connection.

We may not be able to control what happens next, but we can learn how to stay grounded, connected, and present in the places and communities worth caring for.
