Programs for Parents

Intentional Parenting
We host a 4 hour small group experience to assist in your journey to being the best parent, strengthening your relationships with your children, and having a healthier home.
Expect to gain a better understanding of yourself and your children, applicable skills and tools in how to effectively communicate with your children, and ideas on how to maintain meaningful connections no matter the age of your children.
This workshop is for all caregivers in a parental role who desire raising confident secure children.
Medicaid accepted.
1st Saturday every other month, 8:30am-12:30pm.
Next workshop takes place Saturday, May 4th.

Collaborative Co-Parenting
This program is for families who are managing co-parenting and internal conflict in a manner that may be detrimental to their children and has proven to be a barrier to reunification.
We host a 14 week series where participants can expect to gain tools to communicate and co-parent with their child’s overall growth in mind.
The program is held with 3-6 co-parenting families to maximize success in an intimate setting with therapeutic break outs with the co-caregiver to apply the tools and work through real issues.
Medicaid accepted.
All parties must register separately.

This group was designed to aid caregivers with sustaining positive changes and to develop community with like-minded individuals who are developing new cycles in the home.
Join us Thursdays, at our 543 S. 2nd office from 11am-12:15pm.
Medicaid accepted.
Drinks and snacks provided.
For anyone in a parental or caregiving role.
Relationship Programs

Blueprint for Resilient Relationships Couples Workshop
The quality of our lives is equal to the quality of our relationships.
Helping couples strengthen their relationship through learning and practicing evidenced-based tools in a day long, small group environment to promote healthy development throughout the various stages of a relationship.
Join us for a comprehensive 6 hour workshop to gain a better understanding of yourself and how to operate within a relationship.
Various Saturdays, 9am-4pm. Lunch included.

Foundations Date Night Series
Because we know that relationships grow when there is consistency, we offer 6 couples a 6 month date night series.
With dinner provided, the couples will gain insight into how to directly and positively impact their relationship for long term satisfaction.
Date nights are once a month for 2.5 hours and each topic builds from the previous date night.
Medicaid accepted. $250 per date night private pay.
Each date night takes place the 3rd Wednesday of the month 6-8:30pm.

Teen Programs

Teen Wilderness
Come experience the outdoors with us while talking about mental health.
Topics and outings vary, ages 12-17 welcome.
Outings take place during the day the 2nd Friday every month from 11am-4pm.
Drop off and pick up will be at 543 S. 2nd Street office. Lunch included.
Medicaid accepted.
No outdoor experience necessary.
Next outing takes place Friday, May 10th.

Teen Wilderness Retreat
Join us for 2 nights and 3 days
12pm Friday, April 19th - 3pm Sunday, April 21stUpon returning home, we will facilitate a family gathering and celebration on April 21st from 3-5pm. CTS Therapists will host engagement activities for the youth and families concluding with a shared meal together. For the youth in attendance, we ask that families are available for the following dates.
Tuesday April 9th 6pm-7pm (virtual) - Parent and Youth meeting
Tuesday April 16th 6pm-7pm (virtual) Youth Only meeting
Sunday April 21st 1pm-5pm (location TBD) Family Engagement Gathering and Youth Returning home

Open Studio
Enjoy the freedom of an art studio with the support of a therapist with peers ages 8-17. Parents welcome to build connections with their children.
CTS's Open Studio is a nonjudgmental space using art-making to express, grow, and reflect.
Join us Thursdays, 4-5:15pm at 543 S. 2nd Street.

Mother Daughter Date Night Series
We know relationships change as we change.
This series is designed for mothers & daughters to get reacquainted with each other, develop more adaptive communication skills, and bring the fun back into our relationships.
Join us and 6-8 other pairs once a month for dinner and curated conversations as part of a date night series. Participants are asked to commit to full series as each date night builds off each other.
All mother’s meeting Wednesday, February 28th 6-7pm.
Mother Daughter dates nights are Wednesdays
March 6th, April 3rd, and May 1st from 6-8:30pm.
Final outing takes place on Saturday, June 8th 10:30am-3:30pm.Medicaid accepted.

Women & Mental Health
Women carry a lot on their shoulders, let us help lighten the load and remind you— you’re not alone.
This group was designed to create community with like-minded women, to help develop coping skills, and discuss mental health topics relevant to being a woman in 2024.
Join us biweekly on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 9-10:15am at our 543 S. 2nd Street office starting March 1st. Participants can attend various sessions, group concludes May 31st.

Wild Women Reflection
Do you wish you took time to journal and reflect in a quiet beautiful place, but never take the time to actually do it?
Welcome! This group was developed to help put ourselves back up on the priority list. We will meet once a month and head out to nature— our therapist will guide the outing with thought provoking questions to reflect and reconnect with your intuition.
Join us the last Friday of the month starting March 28th, 9am-12pm.
Meet at our 543 S. 2nd Street office and we will depart to a scenic place within 30 minutes of Montrose.
Medicaid accepted.
Light hiking to be expected. Please bring weather appropriate layers, a pen & journal, and water. Transportation and snacks provided.

Women's Wilderness Retreat
Women of all ages welcome.
Join us for 2 nights and 3 days
2pm Friday - 2pm Sunday
Expect to experience the outdoors through a therapeutic lens, to participate in small groups, and leave with tools and connections to take with you in daily life.
No experience necessary. Equipment available upon request. Food and transportation provided.

This group was developed by men, for men.
Designed to create an environment for men to discuss mental health topics, provide adaptive tools, and give the opportunity to build community with those who have common intentions & goals.
Join us biweekly on Fridays from 7-8:15am at our 543 S. 2nd Street office starting March 8th.

Programs for Young Adults

Therapeutic Creative Journaling
Join us the 4th Friday of the month from 12:30-3pm starting April 25th at 543 S. 2nd Street.
The goal of this group is to explore creative self-expression, to develop insight and awareness, and to connect with others in a safe space.
Meetings will include elements of creative writing, painting, collage, and mixed media journaling.
Medicaid accepted.
Snacks and drinks provided.
Young adults of any gender ages 18-24 welcome.

Expressive Art Therapy Group
You do so much to help your clients— let's take care of you!
Join us for a 20-30 minute Expressive Arts based group for helping professionals.
Expressive Arts uses music, movement, art, writing, drama, and creative expressions to nonverbally extract subconscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings without the pressure of verbalizing.
Join us in person at our 543 S. 2nd Street office or online via the button below.
The group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 12:15pm and is free.
Community Collaborations

Yoga with New Leaf Mindfulness
We are pleased to announce a partnership with New Leaf Mindfulness for existing CTS clients.
Clients can enjoy a healing combination of therapeutic movement, gentle yoga, and balance exercises accompanied by guided meditations to help you find more peace and well-being in mind, body and spirit.
Services are covered by Medicaid for clients enrolled in therapeutic services through CTS.
